Tree of Life Pin

MJ7: The Tree of Life was a common symbol of the ancient Christian Celts, and appeared in many forms in their art; however, it goes back beyond the Celts to the Garden of Eden. The pin at left is an interesting variation on the tree-of-life theme and can be worn with the fruit growing in any direction. Faux cabochon stones. A Miracle brand piece. 1 3/4" overall.

The charming Celtic knot necklace and earrings below are set with romantic heart-shaped stones. They are available in two color combinations, antiqued gold with faux malachite and antiqued silver with faux striped amethyst. These are Miracle brand pieces.

Hearts Necklace and Earrings

The heart necklace and earrings at left are made of pewter; they are available either with a gold-colored finish (as shown) or as natural pewter color. The background to the design is antiqued in both cases.

Enamelled Celtic Knots Necklace and Earrings

MJ19: Enamelled Celtic knot earrings and necklace. This is an inexpensive set that goes with just about anything. The knot is outlined in dark brown on white enamel background.  The flat discs are 3/4" across; the pendant hangs on an 18" silver-colored chain. Made in Scotland. Set of earrings and necklace: $10

Irish Stained Glass Pin

The stained glass pieces shown below are made in Ireland; the Celtic design is fired onto them. There are other stained glass pieces by this maker on the barrette and cloak pin pages, if you want to get similar pieces to wear together.

MJ23. Oval four-spirals pin is in ivory with hints of brown shading (each piece is shaded slightly differently), with dark green design. Just under 2" long. $15 We have one of these left.

Celtic Bronze Medallion

The ancient Celts wore bronze a great deal, and modern Celts who do so are following in time-worn footsteps. Bronze is also an inexpensive alternative to gold for those Celts who have the fair skin and reddish hair that is complemented better by gold-colored jewelry than by silver.

MJ25. Triskele medallion pendant. The triskele is an ancient Celtic art motif, shown here in a  design by Rhiannon of Wales. The pendant is 1 1/2" across, on a black cord. This is a high-quality bronze piece. $24
